Cha Eunwoo dropped his first solo mini album ENTITY on February 15, and it flew off the shelves, selling a whopping 217,133 copies in its first week.

This achievement with ENTITY puts him in the top 20 K-pop male solo artists of all time. He’s in great company, ranking 18th alongside talented artists like J-Hope, D.O, and Kai of EXO.

In addition, ENTITY reached the top spot on the iTunes Top Album chart in a whopping 21 countries and regions, including Brazil, Japan, Spain, Denmark, and more.

It not only reached the top 10 in 34 countries, but it even ranked 2nd in Vietnam, Russia, and Thailand. His title song STAY is also a hit, ranking in the top 10 of the song charts in 13 countries. It reached the top spot in seven countries including Argentina, Mexico, Peru, and Chile.

ENTITY is Cha Eunwoo’s first solo album in eight years since his debut. STAY, the title track, is a fantastic country pop song. It delivers a comforting message to those who have experienced separation. The combination of the calm yet powerful guitar playing and Cha Eunwoo’s emotional tone creates a beautiful harmony.
