SBS has announced broadcast plans for its romantic comedy, Would You Marry Me, starring Jung So Min and Choi Woo Shik. Announced last year, the drama will hit TV screens sooner than you think.
On September 2, SBS unveiled the script reading for the new rom-com featuring the lead stars, supporting actors, and production team. Would You Marry Me is directed by Song Hyun Wook (Serendipity’s Embrace, Walking on Thin Ice) and Hwang In Hyeok (Moonshine, Doctor Prisoner) and written by Lee Ha Na (Rookie Cops, Cunning Single Lady).

The romantic comedy Would You Marry Me, starring Choi Woo Shik and Jung So Min, will premiere on SBS in October, airing in the network’s coveted Friday-Saturday evening slot. The exact release date and streaming plans are yet to be announced by the production team.
Plot Overview
The series centers on a quirky “90-day fake marriage” setup. Kim Woo Joo (Choi Woo Shik) is the heir and marketing chief of Myeongsoondang, a historic bakery brand that has been a household name for over eight decades
His life is suddenly thrown into chaos when Yoo Me Ri (Jung So Min), a spirited and unconventional designer, proposes a fake marriage to secure a luxurious townhouse she wins by chance. Me Ri’s previous engagement ended in heartbreak and rental fraud, so she’s determined not to lose the opportunity again.
