Fans are hyped to see the shake-ups and role changes coming in Season 2 of Jinny’s Kitchen.

Choi Wooshik, who was previously known for his role as a hall manager, is making his debut as a chef in season 2.

As per broadcasting sources, the production team and cast of Season 2 of tvN’s show Jinny’s Kitchen headed to Iceland in mid-March for filming.

Based on what eyewitness accounts shared online, the Season 2 crew was seen working near Lake Tjornin in Reykjavik, the capital city in southwest Iceland, with a sign bearing the name ‘Seojin Ttukbaegi’ etched on it.

In the past, Season 1 was shot in Bacalar, Mexico from February to May last year. By introducing K-snacks like kimbap, ramen, and tteokbokki, it won over locals and viewers worldwide. Season 2 will be showcasing comforting Korean-style earthenware dishes that live up to the show’s name.

Notably, Choi Wooshik, who served as a hall manager in Season 1, has reportedly made his official debut as a chef by attempting to cook spicy braised ribs, generating excitement among fans.

BTS member V caught people’s eyes by becoming an intern, despite not being part of Youn’s Restaurant. V began his military service as an active-duty soldier in December last year and is currently serving, which means he won’t be able to join Season 2.

In V’s place, actor Go Minsi will step in, sparking excitement among eager viewers.

Expectations are high as Go Minsi and Choi Wooshik will be reuniting together again on screen after 6 years. The two acted alongside each other in director The Witch, which was released in 2018.
