Chun Woo Hee and Song Joong Ki May Team Up for a New Drama ‘My Youth’

After wrapping up The Atypical Family, it seems like Chun Woo Hee is already planning her next move.

As reported by Korean media outlets, the 37-year-old actress received an offer to star in the upcoming drama My Youth (Working title).

An insider revealed on June 17 that Chun Woo Hee is considering collaborating with Song Joong Ki in the upcoming drama My Youth.

My Youth is penned by the writer Park Si Hyun from Run On, Director Lee Sang Yeop, known for Yumi’s Cells, takes the helm. The series is produced by Song Joong Ki’s agency HighZium Studio.

My Youth follows the reunion of Seon Woo Hae and Seong Je Yeon, who reconnect 15 years after their first meeting as teenagers and are now navigating their own paths and struggles in adulthood.

If Chun Woo Hee accepts the offer, she will take on the character of Seong Je Yeon in the drama. She, equipped with the proper education, personality, salary, and purpose in life, reconnects with Seon Woo Hae (played by Song Joong Ki) and her life turns upside down.

Previously, Chun Woo-hee starred in the JTBC weekend drama The Atypical Family and the Netflix original series The 8 Show. With her impressive acting skills, all eyes are now on the potential romantic chemistry that will unfold with the Vincenzo star.

On the other hand, Song Joong Ki starred in the movie Hopeless and the drama Reborn Rich.
