Chun Woo Hee has a busy year ahead as she has begun filming for the drama My Dear Youth with Song Joong Ki.
The Atypical Family actress teamed up with Elle magazine for a stunning photoshoot, promoting Trudon’s iconic scents.
On September 20, Elle Korea released a pictorial and interview on its official website.
In an interview, Chun Woo Hee revealed that filming for the upcoming drama My Youth has begun.
When asked about her plans for the 2nd half of the year, she revealed, “Recently, I have started filming for the drama ‘My Youth’. I am gradually getting to know my co-star Song Joong Ki and the filming set. First, I wrote ‘2024, 2025 me’ in the script. I sincerely want to spend this time, where I can see myself, and make my daily life enjoyable as well.”
My Youth tells the story of Sun Woo Hae (Song Joong Ki), a former child star who lost his sparkle due to exploitation. Now a novelist and florist, he’s reunited with Sung Je Yeon (Chun Woo Hee), his first love.
Sung Je Yeon, once from a wealthy family, now seeks success as a team leader at Feel Entertainment after her family’s downfall.
This year, Chun Woo Hee starred in two dramas in the first half of the year, The Atypical Family and The 8 Show.
During the interview, she was asked how she approaches her character, “I start from within myself. While having a lot of references can be helpful, I believe that synthesizing the characteristics, realities, and imaginations I have observed so far to create a new character is a method that suits me better.”
