BIGHIT MUSIC has officially revealed the long-awaited fandom name for their newest boy group CORTIS.

The announcement was made through the group’s Weverse community on November 25 at midnight. The agency thanked fans for their patience and support during the selection process.

The fan club name is COER, pronounced “core.” According to BIGHIT, the name is the result of a fan-submission contest held last September, which collected more than 19,000 name ideas from supporters around the world. The agency said they carefully reviewed the finalists together with the CORTIS members before making the final decision.

The label explained that COER symbolizes the closest and strongest connection between the group and its fans. The name combines “COR” from CORTIS and the suffix “~ER,” which represents those who stand together.

It also resembles the word “core” and reflects fans who support CORTIS with deep passion and love. The name represents the fans as the driving force at the center of the group, and those who will “color outside the lines” with them in the future.

The company expressed appreciation to fans for their unwavering support throughout the group’s first 100 days since debut.

CORTIS debuted on August 18, 2025 under BIGHIT MUSIC, the same label behind BTS and TXT. They launched their first EP, Color Outside the Lines, led by the digital single “What You Want,” which quickly gained attention both in Korea and overseas. The group entered the Billboard 200 chart at No. 15 with their debut release, a very strong start indeed.

For those unversed, CORTIS has five members, including leader Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon, and maknae (youngest member) Keonho. The group is described as a young creator team, actively taking part in the production of their music, choreography, and videos. Their group name is based on the phrase “Color Outside the Lines” and reflects their desire to think freely and challenge norms.

In other news, CORTIS will perform at 2025 MAMA Awards on the final day, November 29.
