Despite JYP Entertainment’s Legal Action Announcement, Defamatory Protest Trucks and Hate Towards Stray Kids’ Hyunjin Go Unchecked

Hyunjin from Stray Kids

This month, Hyunjin has faced significant backlash from solo stans and antis due to fake news and alleged chats, leading to demands for his removal from the group.

After an alleged chat with YG trainee, Han Seo Hee went viral, antis and solo stans demanded his withdrawal and accused him of tarnishing the reputation of the group.

More recently, screenshots of alleged chat logs suggesting Hyunjin had a rumored “one-night stand” with Han Seo Hee spread on Korean forums, adding fuel to the protest. Even though Han Seo Hee denied the authenticity of the chat logs and the original poster confessed to making them up, the controversy around Hyunjin kept intensifying.

It got intense with protest trucks showing up outside the JYPE building, and then Hyunjin’s fans called on the agency to step in and safeguard their artists. Finally, JYPE Entertainment made a statement about taking legal action against those spreading false information and hate.

It appears that there hasn’t been any definitive legal action taken as the defamatory protest trucks have not been removed from the site, nor the senders have been sued.

The messages on the truck accused him of being embroiled in controversies and creating a negative atmosphere within the group.

On the bright side, Hyunjin is receiving massive support from his fans who are pushing JYP Entertainment to stick to its statement and protect its artist.
