Did NewJeans’ Danielle Respond to BTS Jungkook’s Post? Fans Decode Her Latest Phoning Update

NewJeans Danielle and BTS Jungkook

Recently, NewJeans’ Danielle sparked curiosity among fans with her intriguing “phoning” status. Many netizens couldn’t help but speculate that this update might be a subtle reference to Jungkook’s recent post.

On September 14, Jungkook made headlines by sharing multiple posts on his dog’s IG account, seemingly supporting NewJeans.

Amid the intensifying HYBE-ADOR drama, he showed his support for the group by captioning the posts with 5 hearts representing NewJeans, “Artists are not guilty” and “Do not use them.*

At first, fans believed that his account was hacked, however, BIGHIT MUSIC later confirmed that the Seven singer shared posts with the thought that artists should not be used as shields.

On the night of September 14, Danielle updated Phoning, a NewJeans fan communication platform. She changed her status message, “Snuggle Bunnies” and added 5 hearts and a hat emoji representing NewJeans members and Min Hee Jin.

Fans were quick to notice that Danielle was referencing Jungkook’s post by adding the heart emojis.

In Min Hee Jin’s conflict with HYBE, NewJeans have publically supported former ADOR and expressed their love for her on several occasions.

On September 11, they held a live broadcast on a new YouTube channel, which has now been deleted. They gave an ultimatum to HYBE to reinstate Min Hee Jin and restore ADOR to its original structure by September 25.

Min is no longer an ADOR CEO, replaced by Kim Joo Young. She has filed an injunction to reinstate internal directors and regain her CEO position.
