Kdrama fans rejoice as Disney+ Korea’s most popular drama is coming back for a second season!

At the recent Disney Content Showcase 2024 in Singapore, the Walt Disney Company Asia Pacific announced the renewal of the Disney+ original series “Moving” for a second season.

The showcase, held on November 21st at Marina Bay Sands, brought together top talent from the US and Asia-Pacific regions to preview Disney’s exciting slate of theatrical and streaming releases for 2025-2026.

Carol Choi, the head of original content strategy at Walt Disney Company Asia-Pacific, said, “We take great pride in the works we have released over the past three years, but we particularly focused on ‘Moving,’ which fans have been constantly asking about.”

Regarding ‘Moving,’ she explained, “It’s an action fantasy, but at its core, it’s a coming-of-age story about friendship, family, and human relationships. However, the way it is presented is fresh. Since its release in 2023, it has won the most awards and was nominated for Best Drama at the Critics’ Choice Awards. It is the number one viewed Disney local original work worldwide.”

Choi added, “We cannot stop here,” and announced, “We have begun to push for ‘Moving’ Season 2 with the writer Kang Full. It is still very early, so we will share more detailed news later.”

Disney Content Showcase 2024 unveiled the 2025 lineup at a two-day event held from November 20-21. The showcase featured upcoming theatrical releases and streaming titles, exclusive trailers and videos, and new Korean and Japanese content.
