Drunken Romance Script Reading Highlights

The ‘Drunken Romance’ team gathered for a script reading including director Park Sun Ho, writer Lee Jung Shin, and the cast – Kim Sejeong, Lee Jong Won, Shin Do Hyun, and Baek Sung-chul.

Kim Sejeong makes a highly-anticipated return to romantic comedy after two years, starring as Chae Yong Joo, a fiercely passionate and physically strong liquor company sales king. Her life takes a turn when a man who understands her better than she knows herself appears.

Lee Jong Won brings Yoon Min Joo to life, a brewery CEO and brewmaster. His acting chops are on full display during the script reading highlights as he conveys Yoon Min Joo’s tendency to shut down when things get too emotional.

The chemistry between him and Kim Sejeong is undeniable. Their characters’ opposing personalities click in a way that makes their romance feel authentic and engaging.

Shin Do Hyun nails her role as Bang A Reum, the super-driven head of planning at ‘Power J’. She aims to take full control of Yoon Min Joo’s brewery, but Chae Yong Joo is giving her a serious run for her money.

Baek Sung-chul plays Oh Chan Hwi, Chae Yong Joo’s best friend who runs a toast truck and travels the country. He brings a fitting energy to the role, capturing Oh Chan Hwi’s carefree personality.

Mark your calendars for November 4 when the first episode of Drunken Romance premieres on ENA, Genie TV, and Genie Mobile.
