On July 3, the agency announced the end of their exclusive contract with the Bride of Habaek actress, confirming their professional separation through an official statement.
EDAM Entertainment released an official statement saying, “After sufficient discussions, our agency and Shin Se Kyung have decided to end our management contract as of July 4.”
The agency expressed gratitude for their time with Shin Se Kyung, built on trust, and appreciated the memories. They vowed to always support her and wished her all the best on her new journey.
