Chen (Kim Jongdae) of the iconic K-pop group EXO is launching his first extensive solo concert tour, “Arcadia,” in six Asian cities in 2026. This major solo endeavor coincides with a period of significant change for EXO.
The tour’s announcement follows the news that he and fellow EXO-CBX members (Xiumin and Baekhyun) will not participate in the group’s upcoming studio album.
This concert tour also supports his fifth mini-album, “Arcadia,” which dropped in September. It is not yet confirmed if Chen will release new music before hitting the road.
Chen “Arcadia” Tour Schedule
The “Arcadia” tour, which kicked off with two successful shows in Seoul in October 2025, will travel to the following cities in early 2026:
- Taipei, Taiwan – January 3, 2026
- Yokohama, Japan – January 25, 2026
- Jakarta, Indonesia – January 31, 2026
- Manila, Philippines – February 28, 2026
- Macau – March 8, 2026
- Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – March 29, 2026
Chen previously held fan meeting-style concerts in 2024, when he visited cities like Bangkok and Manila. Now, he will expand his tour to more cities to meet international fans.
While Chen prepares for his solo tour, an ongoing dispute between EXO-CBX—Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin—and SM Entertainment continues to affect group activities.
The issue began in 2023 over contracts and profit sharing. Although a temporary agreement was reached, disagreements later returned, mainly around payments related to the members’ solo work under their new agency, INB100.
In October, SM Entertainment confirmed that EXO’s eighth studio album, REVERXE, planned for early 2026, would move forward without Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin. The long-awaited comeback will include only six members: Suho, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, Sehun, and Lay.
INB100 has stated that talks for a full-group comeback were ongoing and that the members had accepted SM’s terms. SM Entertainment, however, says that unresolved legal and financial issues must be settled before group activities can continue.
As a result, this will be EXO’s first group comeback since 2023 without its full vocal line.
Meanwhile, fans attending the Arcadia tour can expect a concert focused on Chen’s vocals and emotions. The Seoul shows featured songs from the Arcadia EP, including “Arcadia,” “No Gravity,” and “Deja-Vu.”
Ticketing info for the concert tour, “Arcadia,” is not yet revealed.
