EXO member D.O.

Doh Kyung Soo, better known as D.O. from EXO, has partnered with Blitzway Entertainment to manage his flourishing career.

On November 5, Blitzway Entertainment CEO Hong Min Ki shared the news and expressed excitement about working with the global star. “We are very pleased to be working with Doh Kyung Soo, a global artist who has been loved by K-POP fans around the world and an actor recognized for his acting skills both in Korea and abroad,” Hong said.

He added that Blitzway’s recently expanded management system will allow the agency to fully support every aspect of D.O.’s career, including acting, solo, and group music activities.

This new partnership comes after D.O. parted ways with Company Soosoo, the boutique agency he co-founded with his former SM Entertainment manager in 2023. While his exclusive contract with the company has ended, he will still retain his 50% ownership stake.

A representative from Company Soosoo confirmed on November 4, “Our exclusive contract with Doh Kyung Soo has expired, and we decided not to renew it.”

For now, Company Soosoo will continue managing some of D.O.’s scheduled activities, including his “DO it!” Asia tour encore concerts in Seoul, set for December 6 and 7.

Blitzway Entertainment has been growing rapidly in recent years. It is originally known for actor management and film production. The company took a major step into music earlier this year by acquiring label KLAP Entertainment (which co-manages Kep1er) in May. Now, Blitzway has built a full album production and artist management system.

The agency is home to an impressive list of actors, including Ju Ji Hoon, Chun Woo Hee, Jung Ryeo Won, Moon Chae Won, Woo Do Hwan, Red Velvet’s Yeri Park Ha Sun, and Chae Jong Hyeop.

CEO Hong Min Ki said the agency will provide D.O. with “provide full support not only for Doh Kyungsoo’s acting but also for his group activities and solo albums.”

Since debuting with EXO in 2012, D.O. has been known for his smooth R&B vocals and steady live performances. As EXO’s main vocalist, he helped lead the group to major hits like Growl, Love Me Right, and Ko Ko Bop. He has also built a strong acting career with roles in Bad Prosecutor, Positive Physique, 100 Days My Prince — the latter becoming one of tvN’s highest-rated dramas.

This year, he returns to screens with the new Disney+ series The Manipulated, which premieres today. The project is expected to show a different side of him as an actor.

Outside of music and acting, D.O. has also become a familiar face on variety shows. He gained attention for his easygoing personality and quick wit in tvN’s GBRB: Reap What You Sow in 2023 and its follow-up series GBRB: Joy Pops Laugh Pops, which is currently airing.
