EXO’s Kai Discharged From Military Today

Today marks a momentous occasion for EXO-Ls worldwide as EXO’s charismatic member Kai officially returns to civilian life after completing his mandatory military service.

After dedicating 21 months to serving his country, the talented performer is finally back and ready to reunite with fans with a solo comeback.

Kai began his military journey on May 11, 2023, by entering army training camp for basic training. He then served as a social service worker as part of his alternative military service. After diligently fulfilling his duties, the 31-year-old singer completed his service and was discharged today, February 10.

Now that he is back, he will begin his activities in earnest, with a solo comeback scheduled for the first quarter of 2025. No separate event was held today to celebrate his discharge. Kai is expected to connect with fans through a live stream and share his journey with fans.

Now, Sehun is the only EXO member still serving in the military. But fans won’t have to wait much longer for a full reunion, as he is set to be discharged in September.

EXO members have consistently expressed their desire to reunite for a full-group comeback. After Sehun’s discharge, fans can expect an OT9 comeback as Lay is also in talks with SM Entertainment to rejoin. Notably, D.O. previously crushed fans’ hopes by sharing that EXO’s comeback is happening in 2026.

EXO has captivated fans with hits like “Growl,” “CALL ME BABY,” “Love Shot”, “First Snow”, LOVE ME RIGHT,” and many more.

As EXO’s main dancer, Kai also pursued a successful solo career. His solo debut arrived in 2020 with the mini-album “KAI,” featuring tracks like “Mmmh” and “Peaches.” Prior to enlisting, Kai dropped “Rover,” which generated significant buzz.
