A new comedy drama series is currently in production, with a notable cast being lined up.
Previously, it was announced that Han Suk Kyu will lead the drama “New President Project” (literal title).
As per an exclusive report by JTBC on January 17, “Bae Hyun Sung is set to star alongside Han Suk Kyu in “New President Project.”
“New President Project” is a comedy drama that follows the story of CEO Shin, a mediator who takes on hopeless cases. Bae Hyun Sung stars as Jo Philip, a rigid and inexperienced intern at a chicken restaurant.
The “Family By Choice” actor is expected to create powerful synergy with Han Suk Kyu, a three-time Grand Prize of MBC Drama Awards. In the drama, he engages in intense verbal and physical battles with villains.
Bae recently played the role of Kang Hae Joon in JTBC’s Wednesday drama “Family By Choice”, which concluded on November 27, 2024. “Family By Choice” is a heartwarming drama about three childhood friends who reconnect as adults, heal old wounds, and find love and support along the way.
Bae Hyun Sung has established himself as a credible actor with roles in “Gyeongseong Creature 2”, “Our Blues”, “Miraculous Brothers”, and “Hospital Playlist”.
On the other hand, veteran actor Han Suk Kyu is known for hit dramas such as “Dr. Romantic”, “Doubt”, “Until the Morning Comes”, and more.
“New President Project” will be helmed by director Shin Kyung Soo and written by Ban Gi Ri. Production will be handled by Dooframe, with broadcast details to be announced later.
