Stray Kids’ Felix was named the new global ambassador for Gong Cha in June, marking an exciting collaboration between the popular K-pop idol and the renowned bubble tea brand.
The partnership kicks off in Japan on Thursday, September 11, 2025, with a series of fan-focused events leading up to Felix’s birthday on Monday, September 15, a national holiday. Fans can look forward to unique campaigns, special store decorations, and interactive experiences at multiple locations across the country.
Felix, a longtime fan of Gong Cha, often shares his favorite drink, Taro Milk with pearls, on social media. His appointment as ambassador brings that personal connection to the forefront, with Gong Cha rolling out in-store decorations, videos, and music campaigns featuring him.
During the event period, selected stores will play Stray Kids’ songs as background music, and nine locations will showcase special window displays with Felix’s visuals.
To celebrate the partnership, Gong Cha is launching several campaigns. From September 11 to October 6, 2025, the “Felix Ambassador Commemorative Campaign” allows fans who spend at least ¥1,000 using Gong Cha’s “My Gong Cha” program to enter a lottery for a chance to win a set of two Felix tin badges.
In the “Find Gong Cha x Felix” campaign, fans can photograph or film Felix-themed spots at stores or billboards and post them on X or Instagram with the hashtag #FelixandGongchaTime for a chance to win original collaboration merchandise, including a Tea Master card and drink ticket.
The “Felix Birthday Countdown” campaign runs from September 12 to 14, offering fans the opportunity to win a special birthday set by reposting official Gong Cha posts.
Prizes include a Gong Cha plush toy, a Felix-designed cup sleeve, and a drink ticket, with 30 winners selected. Fans can also enjoy Felix-recommended drinks during this period, such as Brown Sugar Oolong Milk Tea with Pearls, Oolong Tea with Nata de Coco Milk Foam, and Taro Milk with Pearls.
In addition to in-store activities, special Felix videos will be displayed on indoor and outdoor screens at key locations, including LaLaport, LaLa Terrace, and LaLa Street from September 11 to 17. From September 15 to 21, Felix-themed content will appear on streets and outdoor screens in Tokyo, Osaka, and Saitama.
