Felix from Stray Kids is known for his kind and generous spirit, often helping through charitable donations to support those in need.
He has participated in many campaigns for UNICEF and has once again partnered with them to support underprivileged children.
On December 24, the Korean Committee for UNICEF announced that Felix would participate in the ‘UNICEF Team’ campaign. Launched in 2018, the campaign aims to unite people in support of children worldwide who are affected by war, disasters, poverty, and other crises.
As a Goodwill Ambassador, the 24-year-old K-pop star will collaborate with esteemed ambassadors, including Kim Yuna, Kim Hye Soo, and Faker, to promote the ‘UNICEF Team’ campaign. Through his participation, he aims to raise awareness and encourage support for children in need.
Jo Mi Jin, Secretary General of the Korean Committee for UNICEF, expressed her gratitude, saying, “We deeply appreciate the four individuals who have joined us with their precious talents and sincere affection for children.”
She added, “This year has been particularly challenging for children worldwide due to ongoing wars, disasters, and poverty. We kindly request your interest and participation in the ‘UNICEF Team’ to support these children.”
Felix has been making a positive impact through his consistent support of UNICEF. Here are some of his notable philanthropic efforts:
- January: Donated 100 million won to UNICEF Korea to help children in Laos struggling with malnutrition and poor living conditions, becoming the youngest member of the ‘Honors Club’.
- February: Visited the UNICEF Laos project site to participate in programs supporting children’s health and well-being.
- September 15: Celebrated his birthday by donating 50 million won to UNICEF.
Felix’s genuine care for children worldwide led to his appointment as a UNICEF Korea Goodwill Ambassador in September.
