Former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin Files for Injunction to Reappoint Internal Directors

CEO Min Hee Jin

The HYBE-ADOR feud, which began in April this year, is far from over!

Even NewJeans has publicly spoken out in favor of the former CEO Min Hee Jin and demanded her reinstatement by September 25.

Min Hee Jin has taken legal action to regain control of the label. On September 13, her representatives, Sejong Law Firm and Macol Consulting Group, announced that she had filed an injunction with the Seoul Central District Court to:

Min has requested a court-ordered emergency meeting to reclaim her place as CEO and board member before the November 2 deadline (when her term as an internal director expires).

The law firm stated that Min’s dismissal by HYBE was a clear violation of the shareholder agreement and the court’s injunction order.

The firm argued that despite the agreement guaranteeing Min Hee Jin a 5-year term as CEO and internal director, and the court acknowledged this fact, HYBE unilaterally terminated her position.

Her legal representatives urged HYBE to stop breaching the contract and make rational decisions for ADOR and NewJeans’ future.

Meanwhile, Min Hee Jin was replaced by Kim Joo Young as the new ADOR CEO on August 27 following a prolonged dispute with HYBE.
