Momoland’s JooE has finally signed an exclusive contract with an agency to pursue a solo career.

Back in December 2023, she opened up about the struggles of promoting without an agency and managing all her schedules.

Now, the 24-year-old singer has embarked on a new journey with Oneul Entertainment.

On June 17, the agency announced, “We have signed an exclusive contract with JooE. We plan to engage in various activities as well as provide generous support.”

JooE, who joined Oneul Entertainment as their first artist, mentioned her goal of utilizing her diverse talents in her new home. She expressed a desire to connect with the audience in a better way through various types of content.

After her debut in 2016, she remained with MLD Entertainment, an agency of Momoland. Now, she has found a new home to pursue her career as a soloist.

Oneul Entertainment is a new agency founded by CEO Bang Seok Hyeong, who previously served as the general director of Source Music and Abyss Company. CEO Bang collaborated with So Sung Jin, CEO of Source Music, to plan and produce the girl group GFriend.

Oneul Entertainment, which recently signed an exclusive contract with JooE, is now expanding its reach by recruiting new artists.
