Lucas, the NCT member who departed from the group after getting embroiled in controversy, is set to embark on a solo singing career.
On March 8, an official from SM Entertainment shared, “Lucas is preparing for solo activities in April, and detailed schedules will be released later.”
In the past, Mr. A who claimed to be Lucas’ ex-girlfriend in 2021 claimed that he allegedly gaslighted her. Another person, B, stated that they were also in a relationship with Lucas during that time and had a similar experience.
After all the controversy surrounding his personal life, Lucas apologized and admitted that his past actions were wrong. He acknowledged that he had let down his fans who had supported him for a long time.
As a result, he decided to halt his activities. Then, in May of last year, Lucas officially left NCT and WayV and announced that he would pursue his own endeavors.
Last month, he created social media accounts hinting at a comeback and released a documentary reflecting on his past actions.
