Former THE BOYZ Member Hyunjun Signs with New Agency

Hyunjun

Ex-THE BOYZ member Hur Hyunjun (formerly known as Hwall) has signed an exclusive contract with 9ATO Entertainment. The agency is home to top stars such as Han So Hee, Hwang Jung Min, Kim Moo Joon, Jin Ga Eun, and Yeonwoo.

On August 11, 9ATO Entertainment stated,

We are delighted to be working with Hyunjun, who possesses both captivating visuals and solid acting skills. We will provide our full support so that Hyunjun, with his limitless potential, can fully showcase his talents in various fields.

He first entered the spotlight in December 2017 as part of THE BOYZ, debuting as a lead dancer, rapper, and sub-vocalist. However, in October 2019, he departed from the group due to persistent ankle pain and health concerns. This decision came after his limited participation in the group’s “DDD” promotions.

Following his departure, Hyunjun launched a solo career under his own label Dia Note, debuting in August 2020 with the single “Baragi.” His later releases were “Vo!d” (2021) and “Let Me Drown” (2022).

In acting, Hyunjun made his debut in 2020 with the web drama Color Rush, where he played Go Yoo Han, a mysterious transfer student entangled in a unique “color perception” storyline. The role earned him a loyal drama fanbase. He also took on stage work, starring in the 2022 play Yeodo.

This year, Hyunjun appears in the ongoing KBS2 romance drama My Girlfriend is a Man as Lee Min Hyuk, a charming yet layered café worker.

Beyond acting and singing, the 25-year-old actor has entered the world of endorsements. He became the brand model for LoNLy, a Korean-Japanese beauty brand.

With his signing to 9ATO Entertainment, Hyunjun now joins a powerful talent lineup, which opens doors for bigger acting projects, music releases, and overseas promotions.
