G-Dragon Announces Second World Tour After Nearly 8 Years

G-Dragon 2025 World Tour

G-Dragon is keeping fans on their toes with back-to-back exciting announcements.

The K-pop icon currently dominates the headlines for the announcement of the full-length album “Übermensch”. In addition, he is set to headline multiple music festivals in Asia and abroad now that he is releasing new music and resuming solo activities.

On February 6, G-Dragon announced his 2025 world tour via his official fan social media channel. A teaser poster revealed the tour’s name, “Übermensch,” which is also the title of his upcoming third full-length album, set for release on February 25. The poster features his silhouette along with a stylized “U” font resembling a human figure.

Fans have been eagerly waiting for his concerts for nearly 7.5 years, 88 months to be exact, since his last world tour in 2017. G-Dragon’s 2017 world tour, “ACT III: MOTTE,” was a huge success, with 36 shows over 4 months.

It drew a record-breaking 654,000 fans, the largest tour ever by a K-pop solo artist. Expectations are high that his upcoming world tour will be just as historic.

Fans can look forward to his performances of recent hits “POWER”, “HOME SWEET HOME”, and new songs from the album.

It seems like G-Dragon is hell-bent on making 2025 his year. After an 11-year wait, he is releasing his third album “Übermensch” on February 25.

Fans can expect a packed year with regular TV appearances, a world tour, and more exciting activities that will make the long wait worthwhile.

Ahead of his album release, the BIGBANG leader G-Dragon will return to the world of variety shows, with “Good Day” premiering on MBC and Disney+ on February 16.
