G-DRAGON was booked without detention for allegedly violating the Narcotics Control Act. On November 6, he voluntarily appeared at the Incheon Police Agency for investigation.
When news of his indictment came out, he strongly denied the charges through his legal representative. G-DRAGON aka Kown Ji Young underwent a detailed drug test and received a negative result. Not only that, his travel ban has also been lifted recently.
While he’s tested negative, the drug use investigations are still ongoing. On November 28, the BIGBANG member released a short video on his Instagram, hinting at a possible comeback. He posted the video with the caption “La Divina Commedia Written by Dante Alighieri(1308-1320)”.
In the video, G-DRAGON was seen singing the outro of Divina Commedia from his solo album KWON JI YONG released in 2017. That scene where he murmured, “Who am I?” was also included in the video.
Fans are already speculating about a possible comeback and expressing their anticipation. Moreover, G-DRAGON previously announced his comeback plans this year in January, mentioning that he’s preparing an album.
