Despite the disbandment, GFriend is making a special comeback to celebrate their 10th debut anniversary.
In September, SOURCE MUSIC confirmed that the K-pop girl group will make a comeback next year.
GFriend debuted with their mini-album “Season of Glass” on January 16, 2015, and 10 years later, they will release a special album on January 13, 2025.
On December 2 at midnight, SOURCE MUSIC released the logo motion for their upcoming album “Season of Memories” on all social media channels.
The group will pre-release a single on Monday, January 6 at 12 PM KST to give a preview of their upcoming album.
In 2021, GFriend members signed with new agencies after disbandment and three members (Umji, SinB, and Eunha) formed VIVIZ under Big Planet Made Entertainment. On the other hand, Yerin and Yuju are pursuing a career as a solo artist whereas Sowon is focusing on acting endeavors.
Despite going separate ways, they are reuniting with their fans to celebrate a 10-year milestone with an album “Season of Memories.”
This special album marks GFriend’s reunion four years after they went their separate ways.
Meanwhile, GFriend will drop “Season of Memories” on January 13 at 6 PM KST with a pre-release single dropping on January 6.
