Minnie and Yuqi from (G)I-DLE are taking a break from their activities for a while.
Cube Entertainment released a statement this morning, saying that Minnie and Yuqi went to the hospital on January 26 because they were feeling unwell. They experienced symptoms like fever and migraines.
For now, Minnie and Yuqi have put a pause on all their schedules. The agency mentioned, “Following the medical team’s diagnosis, we considered an unreasonable schedule before the comeback and stopped the schedule. We are focusing on sufficient rest and treatment.”
The agency also expressed their sincere apologies to the fans who have been eagerly anticipating the comeback. They assured everyone that they will do everything possible to support (G)I-DLE in their recovery and ensure their health is well taken care of.
In other news, (G)I-DLE is getting ready to make a comeback with their second full-length album 2 on January 29 at 6 PM. They even released a pre-released song called Wife on January 22.
