Golden Child Now a 7-Member Group After 3 Members Leave

Golden Child has undergone a significant lineup change, bidding farewell to three members – TAG, Kim Jibeom, and Choi Bomin – whose exclusive contracts have expired. 

The group will now reorganize and continue as a 7-member unit.

On August 27, Woollim Entertainment announced, “We recently renewed our contracts with five members of our artist Golden Child: Hong Joochan, Lee Jangjun, Bong Jaehyun, Bae Seungmin, and Kim Donghyun.”

As of today, Golden Child’s management contracts with TAG, Kim Jibeom, and Choi Bomin have officially come to an end. Meanwhile, Lee Daeyeol and Y will continue under their existing contracts.

This is not the first time the group has gone through a lineup change. Previously, Jaeseok left Golden Child around 4 months after the debut.

They debuted on August 28, 2017, with a 10-member lineup, and now with the departure of 4 members, Golden Child will organize into a 7-member group.
