GOT7’s BamBam had to cancel his US tour due to a worsening ankle injury.

On January 26, His agency Abyss Company announced that BamBam’s ‘The First World Tour ‘AREA 52’ in the US, which was supposed to take place from February 10th to February 24th, unfortunately had to be canceled because his ankle injury got worse.

The agency explained that they were preparing a new song for BamBam to perform in the United States during his tour. Unfortunately, while practicing that new song, his ankle injury got worse.

Abyss Company announced the cancellation stating, “After numerous discussions, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the US tour as it was deemed inappropriate for the artist’s health to proceed with the original schedule.”

The agency expressed their gratitude to all the fans who were excited about the tour and apologized for the disappointment caused by its cancellation. They emphasized that BamBam’s health is their top priority so that he can meet fans again in the future.

BamBam himself also apologized through his Instagram, “I’m sorry for not taking good care enough of myself.”

BamBam started his The First World Tour ‘AREA 52’ at the Olympic Hall in Seoul Olympic Park back in September.

After that, he went on to tour various countries in Asia, including the Philippines, Macau, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Japan.

The US tour was supposed to be the next leg of his tour, with concerts planned in six cities: Oakland, LA, Dallas, Chicago, Washington, and New York.

On another note, Bambam is set to host Love Siblings and Super Rich Stranger and plans to release solo album this year.
