GOT7’s Mark Tuan Signs With American Label Transparent Arts

GOT7’s Mark Tuan has embarked on a new chapter in his solo career after signing with Transparent Arts. It is a leading Asian American entertainment company known for amplifying global talent. The partnership, announced on May 16, coincides with the upcoming release of his alt-pop single High As You on May 30.

This marks not only his first solo project of 2025 but also his first under his new global agency. 

Mark shared his excitement about partnering with the LA-based record label, saying, “I’m thrilled to partner with Transparent Arts and to step into a new phase of my journey as an artist.”

The Taiwanese-American singer also dished on upcoming music and new beginnings, ‘’High As You’ is just the beginning, and I’m looking forward to sharing more of this side of me with my fans.”

COO of Transparent Arts, James Roh, welcomed the GOT7 member to the roster, stating, “As a fellow LA native, we felt an instant connection with him. He brings a rare blend of professionalism, talent, and authentic kindness.”

“Working with Mark has been creatively fulfilling, and we can’t wait for the world to hear what we’ve been working on,” Roh said. 

Transparent Arts was founded by the Far East Movement, the Asian-American group that made history with their No. 1 album on Billboard, and now represents artists like The Rose.

Meanwhile, Mark Tuan recently reunited with GOT7 for a long-awaited comeback with the album WINTER HEPTAGON in January. Now, he has resumed his solo career and has promised to delight fans with various activities in the future.

The 31-year-old rapper began his career with JYP Entertainment’s boy band, GOT7, in 2014. He stayed with JYP till 2021, for over 10 years after signing with the agency in 2010 as a trainee. Tuan then signed with Creative Artist Agency and carried out activities under the agency until this year. 

After his solo debut in January 2020, Mark Tuan has delivered several hits like Everyone Else Fades, Your World, Last Breath, My Life, and more. Now, fans are looking forward to his upcoming activities under the new American label.
