GOT7’s Mark Tuan to Skip YSL’s Men PFW Show; Here’s Why

Mark Tuan at YSL SS24 Show in Paris

Mark Tuan is a fan favorite at the Yves Saint Laurent Paris Fashion Week shows, always bringing the heat with his sultry looks.

Much to the fans’ disappointment, the Taiwanese-American K-pop star will not attend the YSL’s Men PFW show this time.

Netizens may think his absence from the event is due to GOT7’s busy schedule promoting their comeback album “WINTER HEPTAGON“.

However, that’s not why and the reason may surprise fans. Despite being an American citizen, Mark Tuan can not fly to France to attend YSL’s runway show due to visa restrictions.

On January 27, the 31-year-old singer released an official statement on his social media accounts regarding his absence from the French luxury brand’s key event.

The statement reads, “We were thrilled to announce Mark’s participation in the Saint Laurent Men’s Paris Fashion Week show, but due to visa restrictions, he will unfortunately be unable to attend. After exploring all potential options, we found no feasible solution to make his attendance possible.”

They added, “Although unable to attend in person, Mark extends his warmest wishes to Saint Laurent and Anthony for a successful and outstanding show in Paris.”

Mark has attended the prestigious PFW several times as a representative of Yves Saint Laurent.

Fans can’t get enough of his fashion sense, and he never disappoints. Whether he’s walking the red carpet or attending a fashion show, Mark Tuan always brings his A-game.

Anthony Vaccarello, Saint Laurent’s creative director, is set to unveil the brand’s men’s collection today, January 28, during couture week.
