The highly-anticipated Netflix series Gyeongseong Creature Season 2 starring Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee is finally getting a release date.
According to an exclusive report by Star News on August 22, Gyeongseong Creature 2 is set to premiere on September 27.
The new season is coming approximately eight months after the release of Season 1 on January 5.
The main cast, including Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee, are finalizing their promotional schedules, including production presentations and content filming, ahead of the upcoming release.
Season 2 of Gyeongseong Creature follows Ho-jae (Park Seo Joon), a lookalike of Tae-sang, and Chae-ok (Han Sohee), a survivor of the 1945 Gyeongseong era, as they delve into their unresolved past, fate, and doomed connections in 2024 Seoul.
Building on Season 1’s vibrant depiction of greed-born monsters and the darker aspects of human nature, Season 2 shifts the setting to modern-day Seoul, hinting at a fresh start with the addition of new cast members Lee Moo-saeng and Bae Hyun Sung.
Gyeongseong Creature Season 1 achieved remarkable success on Netflix, reaching the top spot globally just four days after its release. Although it received mixed reviews in Korea, the show gained immense popularity worldwide.
