Ha Sung Woon Addresses Plagiarism Accusations from Yerin Baek Over ‘Love Next Door’ OST

Ha Sung Woon and Yerin Baek

Ha Sung Woon has recently found himself at the center of controversy following plagiarism accusations from fellow artist Yerin Baek.

In the early hours of October 4, Yerin accused the former Wanna One singer of his OST What are we for Love Next Door to be a rip-off of her song 0310.

In response to the allegations, his agency Big Planet Made Entertainment released an official statement, stating, “Ha Sung Woon and Big Planet Made Entertainment participated solely as singers in the drama OST production, upon request from the production company. We were not involved in the lyrics, composition, or arrangement of ‘What are we’.

Despite this, we regret that Ha Sung Woon’s OST has become embroiled in plagiarism allegations and caused concern. We hope for an amicable resolution between Baek Yerin and the OST production company.”

Singer Yerin Baek has publicly addressed plagiarism concerns, sharing a video of Ha Sung Woon’s OST “What Are We” on social media.

She expressed discontent, stating, “It must you to suck copying, feel bad, If you want a song like mine, please ask me to.”

On another note, Love Next Door is set to conclude on October 6, with the final OST sung by male lead Jung Hae In.
