On Friday morning, a Japanese post about Korean actors at the hotel pool went viral with tags ‘Reply 1988’ and ‘Nevertheless’. It didn’t include a picture of them together and was deleted by Friday afternoon.
Jun Yeol became famous from Reply 1988 (2015-2016), and Sohee starred in Nevertheless (2021).
Their agencies addressed the escalating dating rumors later in the day. They confirmed they were in Hawaii but denied dating.
Ryu Jun Yeol’s agency, C-JeS Studio confirmed that the actor is currently staying in Hawaii ‘for photography work.’
The agency stated, “Please respect the fact that it is not part of the actor’s public schedule but a personal trip,” and added, “We will not separately respond to such eyewitness accounts in the future.”
9ATO Entertainment, Han Sohee’s agency, revealed that the Nevertheless actress is enjoying a ‘trip with close friends’ for her ‘first vacation since her debut.’
The agency clarified she’s not dating Ryu and asked for privacy. She indirectly addressed rumors with a photo of wearing matching bracelets with two other people.
Lastly, Ryu Jun Yeol’s ex-girlfriend, Hyeri, unfollowed him on Instagram following dating news and shared a cryptic post.
