‘Harbin’ Starring Hyun Bin, Jeon Yeo Been, and More to Hit Korean Theaters this December, Trailer Out Now

The highly-anticipated multi-starrer movie Harbin is coming this winter.

Director Woo Min Ho’s latest film Harbin is set to premiere in December, boasting an impressive cast, including Hyun Bin, Park Jeong Min, Jo Woo Jin, and Jeon Yeo Been. 

On September 5, CJ Entertainment dropped the first poster and trailer for the movie.

In the upcoming film Harbin, Hyun Bin brings to life the heroic story of An Jung Geun, a lieutenant general in the Korean independence army. The recently released trailer features a powerful one-minute monologue by Hyun Bin, highlighting the tragic struggles and sacrifices of independence fighters.

“Harbin tells the story of brave Korean independence activists in the early 1900s, who risked their lives to fight against Japanese rule. The film’ features a daring attack by freedom fighters in Harbin, China. 

The movie was filmed across three countries including Mongolia, Latvia, and Korea.

Director Woo Min Ho returns with his new film, Harbin, after a 4-year break. He is known for directing movies like Man of Vendetta (2010), Drug King (2018), and The Man Standing Next (2020).

Hive Media Corp. is collaborating with acclaimed director Woo Min-ho for the first time in years, producing his latest film. 

Harbin will have its world premiere at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival on September 8 (local time), ahead of its domestic release. The film’s stars, Hyun Bin and Lee Dong Wook, will join director Woo Min Ho at the premiere.
