On August 5, rumors surfaced that Hwang Jung Eum and Kim Jung Kyu, aged 33, had broken up, which was later confirmed by her agency.
Y1 Entertainment shared the news stating, “Hwang Jung Eum and the person she had recently been getting to know carefully decided to remain as good friends.”
She is currently in the process of getting a divorce from Lee Young Don, whom she accused of infidelity.
Hwang Jung Eum has filed a civil lawsuit against her ex-husband, Lee Young Don, seeking 900 million won in damages. Hwang’s lawsuit alleges that her business lent Lee a substantial amount exceeding 900 million won, which has not been repaid.
The couple first married in 2016 and had two sons together, but ultimately parted ways after a second separation.
