On January 9, iMBC Entertainment reported that Koo Junhoe will be making an appearance in Channel A’s new drama called Get Married You. The drama is written by Rina and directed by Yoon Yeo-chang.
Get Married You‘ is a romantic drama that revolves around the struggles of Jeong Ha-na, an unmarried civil servant who is assigned to the Marriage Morale Promotion Team. This team is created with the goal of helping Bong Cheol-hee (played by Lee Yi Kyung), an eligible bachelor who is trying to avoid marriage.
In the drama, Koo Junhoe of iKON takes on the role of Choi Ki-jun, who happens to be the leader of the marriage morale promotion team that Jeong Ha-na is a part of. Choi Ki-jun is portrayed as a strict and well-rounded individual, with nothing lacking in his occupation, personality, manners, and appearance.
Last year, Koo Jun-hoe made his first foray into acting in the drama Bora! Deborah as Yang Jin-ho. He received incredible praise for his portrayal of a young man in his 20s who excelled in various areas like sports, singing, and cooking.
After Bora! Deborah, Koo Junhoe is taking on another acting challenge in Get Married You. After receiving such positive reviews from viewers in his previous drama, it’ll be interesting to see how he brings even more momentum to the show with his passionate performance.
