iKON’s Koo Junhoe to Release Solo Debut Album in July

iKON Koo Junhoe

iKON’s Koo Junhoe is set to Debut as a soloist nine years after his debut with the group.

As reported by The Fact on June 6, the 27-year-old idol and actor is currently working on his solo album with plans to release it in July.

As per the official source, he has not finalized all the songs yet, and the album is still in the production phase. It is reported that his solo debut will likely be a mini-album. After debuting with iKON back in 2015, Koo Junhoe is stepping into the solo spotlight after 9 years.

Notably, he is the last member of iKON to make a solo debut. Of all the iKON members, Bobby has maintained a steady solo music career, releasing albums regularly.

However, with the agency change, the other members have started to pursue solo projects. Following Kim Jinhwan’s solo debut in July last year, Kim Dong Hyuk, Song Yunhyeong, and Jung Chanwoo have all released their solo music this year. Now, Koo Junhoe is the only member left to make his solo debut.

iKON has been super busy as a group and as solo artists ever since they signed with 143 Entertainment in January 2023.

Despite the success of their 3rd full-length album TAKE OFF and their international tour, members’ solo projects received good reviews.

In other news, Kim Jinhwan from iKON enlisted in the military as a social worker in July 2023, Jung Chanwoo enlisted on May 27, and Bobby enlisted on June 4.
