Meet the K-pop artists dominating the global music scene! 

Spotify’s ‘2024 K-Pop Global Impact List’ has arrived, and ILLIT, BTS’ V, LE SSERAFIM, and others have earned top spots as the most impactful K-pop artists worldwide in the first half of 2024.

Most artists under HYBE including ILLIT, BTS, LE SSERAFIM, Zico, and TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) have topped Spotify’s ‘2024 Korean Music Global Impact List’ as the leading K-pop acts of the year so far.

Spotify’s ‘Music Global Impact List South Korea ranked the top 30 K-pop songs with the most streams globally, excluding Korea, from tracks released between January 1 and June 30 of this year.

ILLIT not only debuted on the list but also topped the list a few months after their debut. Their debut song Magnetic made history as the first K-pop group debut song to enter Billboard’s HOT 100 and the UK Official Chart’s Singles Top 100.

Four BTS members, V, J-Hope, RM, and Jungkook, who released music in the first half of 2024, also made the list. NewJeans secured 20th position with How Sweet released over a month ago, on May 24.

Lastly, HYBE Labels’ artists claimed half of the top 30 spots on Spotify’s Music Global Impact South Korea list.
