ILLIT’s ‘Super Real Me’ Achieves Highest First-week Sales for Debut Album by a Girl Group

ILLIT is rewriting history with their debut release. The girl group secured the top spot in first-week album sales on Hanteo. ILLIT dropped their debut mini album Super Real Me on March 25 on various musical platforms. As per the Hanteo Chart, the initial sales of the new album reached 380,056 copies.

ILLIT’s Super Real Me leads the pack with 380,056 copies sold, followed by NewJeans’ New Jeans at 311,271 copies, LE SSERAFIM’s FEARLESS with 307,450 copies, aespa’s Savage with 276,877 copies, NMIXX’s AD MARE with 227,399 copies.

Among K-pop groups’ combined debut albums, it secured the 5th spot in the first week. It followed ZEROBASEONE with 1.82 million copies, RIIZE with 1.01 million copies, X1 with 520,000 copies, and Wanna One with 410,000 copies. 

The title track Magnetic achieved 7th place on Melon’s daily chart just one week after its release and reached the top spot on the Bugs daily chart. 

It also garnered attention from global audiences. ILLIT made it onto Spotify’s Daily Top Song Global on their debut day and ranked 77th on the Daily Top Songs America chart. 

Super Real Me delves into the concept of the ‘real me’, portraying the genuine and daring emotions of a teenager. HYBE Chairman Bang Sihyuk was directly involved in producing all the tracks on the album.
