ILLIT’s Wonhee to Perform Seated at Weverse Con Festival Due to Ankle Injury

ILLIT’s Wonhee will have to adjust her schedule due to a recent ankle injury.

On June 14, BELIFT LAB released a statement about her injury and adjustments to the upcoming schedule. They shared, “Wonhee sustained an injury in her ankle while filming content earlier this week and has since received medical attention.” BELIFT LAB went on to say, “The medical staff advised that she wear a brace and minimize excessive movements.”

Regarding the group’s upcoming commitments, the label announced, “Wonhee will be able to participate in the AliExpress 2024 Weverse Con Festival performance, however, she will remain seated on stage without participating in the choreography.”

BELIFT LAB announces that despite her ankle injury, she is determined to participate in all upcoming engagements with ILLIT. However, her participation will be adjusted according to her condition, prioritizing her recovery as advised by medical professionals.

On another note, ILLIT debuted with a mini album SUPER REAL ME in March and secured an entry on Billboard HOT 100 with the title track Magnetic. The group has been enjoying huge popularity and performing at various festivals ever since their debut.
