Rumors have been swirling around 2PM’s Ok Taecyeon and his longtime non-celebrity girlfriend, with many speculating that the two might be tying the knot soon. However, his agency, 51K, has stepped in to set the record straight.
On February 5, the agency stated, “The marriage rumors between Ok Taecyeon and his girlfriend are untrue,” and added, “There are currently no specific marriage plans.”
Regarding the proposal photos, the 2PM star’s side explained, “They were taken last year to celebrate his girlfriend’s birthday and were leaked and spread.” They further emphasized, “As of now, there are no fixed plans regarding marriage.”
51K emphasized that while he does hope to get married someday, there are currently no concrete plans for a wedding. The couple has been publicly dating since 2020, and it seems they are still enjoying each other’s company without any immediate plans for marriage.
Rumors were fueled when romantic photos of the “Vincenzo” star proposing to his girlfriend in front of the iconic Eiffel Tower in Paris was shared by a photography page. As soon as the photos went viral, the posts were swiftly deleted.
He successfully transitioned to acting after debuting as a member of JYP Entertainment’s group, 2PM. His notable work includes “Vincenzo”, “Heartbeat”, “Blind”, and more.
