K-pop icon IU is set to reconnect with fans in Seoul this September with a special fan meet-up event titled Bye, Summer. This gathering marks her first official fan event in nearly two years, following her widely praised fan concert I+UN1VER5E held in September 2023.

The singer-actress had an incredibly successful year so far with the release of Netflix original When Life Gives You Tangerines and remake album, A Flower Bookmark, Pt. 3. Last year, she met fans through her world tour, HEREH, which followed her 6th mini-album, The Winning.

Unlike a typical stage concert, the ‘Bye, Summer’ fan meet-up will emphasize close interaction between IU and her fans. The event will focus on heartfelt communication and shared moments rather than large-scale performances.

The theme of the event, “Bye, Summer,” reflects a gentle farewell to the fading summer season.

IU Fan Meet-Up ‘Bye, Summer’ Schedule

The fan meet-up ‘Bye, Summer’ will be hosted over two days, September 13 and 14, 2025, at the KSPO Dome in Olympic Park, located in Songpa-gu, Seoul. The venue has a 15K seating capacity which will give plenty of fans the chance to deepen the connection with IU.

Tickets

Tickets for ‘Bye, Summer’ will be available through Melon Ticket, a popular ticketing platform in South Korea. The presale will open on August 11, 2025, at 8 PM KST, giving fan club members and early supporters first access. General ticket sales will open on Wednesday, August 13.

Given IU’s massive popularity and the intimate nature of the event, tickets are expected to sell quickly. Fans are encouraged to prepare in advance and participate promptly once sales begin.

On the work front, IU is set to lead the upcoming MBC drama Wife of a 21st Century Prince, playing Sung Hee Ju, the second daughter of a powerful, wealthy family. Her character enters a contract marriage with Prince Lee Wan, a role portrayed by Byeon Woo Seok, famous for Lovely Runner. Directed by Park Joon Hwa, the series is expected to air in late 2025 or early 2026.
