IU and Park Bo Gum are teaming up for the new series “When Life Gives You Tangerines,” which is set to premiere on Netflix. Fans are excited not only for the star power of these two beloved actors but also for the show’s unconventional release schedule.

On February 5, Netflix confirmed the release details for the upcoming series. “When Life Gives You Tangerines” will unfold over a period of four weeks, with the first episode dropping on March 7.

Four episodes will be released each week (March 7, March 14, March 21, and March 28) and the drama will conclude its run on March 28. This marks the first time the streaming giant is releasing a show with such an unconventional schedule.

It tells the story of Ae Sun (IU), a rebellious woman from Jeju, and Kwan Sik (Park Bo Gum), a diligent young individual. The drama will be released in 4 parts, each covering a different season: spring, summer, fall, and winter.

As stated earlier, the series will reveal its narrative in four acts, spanning spring, summer, fall, and winter, over four weeks. With four episodes released weekly, “When Life Gives You Tangerines” will delve deeper into the seasons of life.

The first still from the Kdrama shows Ae Sun in a school uniform and Kwan Sik looking at her.

This image introduces the characters and sets the stage for their story. With a cast including IU, Park Bo Gum, Moon So Ri, and Park Hae Joon, it aims to appeal to a wide range of audiences.

Meanwhile, “When Life Gives You Tangerines” is set to premiere exclusively on Netflix on March 7.
