IU has finally met one of his elderly fans during the US leg of her world tour, H.E.R!
American YouTuber, Zev, affectionately known as Grandpa UAENA (IU’s fandom name) successfully attended the Oakland concert, held on Tuesday, July 30.
More recently, photos of Zev with IU have gone viral and fans are overjoyed that he had the opportunity to meet the Love Wins All singer.
He was invited by IU to the concert in February after the announcement of the 18-city world tour.
In his latest video on YouTube after attending the concert, Zev showed all the gifts that YOU brought for him including a signed album, a keychain, a special bow tie made from traditional Korean fabric, a handwritten letter, as well as their memorable photos.
Grandpa UAENA shared his excitement saying, “I am on cloud 9! IU gave me a hug, aw, thank you so much, thank you for being you.”
He also revealed meeting her brother at the concert, saying, “I met IU’s brother, it must run in the family because her brother has a face filled with kindness.”
On another note, IU’s tour H.E.R., which kicked off with four shows in Seoul in March, is nearing completion as she is set to perform her final show in LA at KIA Forum on August 2.
