IU opened up about the viral clip of her kissing the Thai actress Davika Hoorne at a Gucci event. The singer and actress is the cover star of the latest Elle Korea edition. On September 23rd, Elle posted a video on their YT channel with the title ‘This is an explanation for IU’s shocking kiss issue (feat. Davika Hoorne)’
Earlier this year in May, a video of IU kissing Davika on the cheek went viral at the Gucci fashion show. When asked about the incident during the Elle Korea interview, IU responded by saying that Davika is a very outgoing person and she is the It Girl too.
The Eight singer revealed that the Thai actress approached her first saying that they share the same birthday. That was the day of their birthdays and they bonded over that. She wished each other birthday at the Gucci event.
Further, the Dream actress revealed that Davika tilted slightly towards her, she was uncertain if she was going for a kiss because it was so dark and loud. IU explained that she did not know what to do at that moment.
IU said ‘my pupil was shaking, for a good 0.1 second’. The 30-year-old singer and actress revealed that she was confused as to ‘Do I have to give a kiss?’ She kissed Davika on the cheek and the Thai actress responded ‘cheerfully.’
Because of that kissing incident, IU feels like they gained a special and interesting bond with each other. This is not the only incident she talked about in the Elle interview, she shared hilarious details about many incidents involving her.
