IU has shown once again that she is an unstoppable force in the music industry. Her new album has taken the domestic charts by storm, leaving no doubt about her incredible talent and popularity.
On February 20, IU released her 6th mini album The Winning on various music platforms at 6 PM. The album includes 5 new songs, including double title tracks.
All of IU’s songs have been dominating the major charts. Love Wins All, which was pre-released on January 24, is still holding the top spot on Melon’s Top 100 as of 8 PM today. Both double title songs, Shopper and Holssi, are also gaining massive popularity.
Shopper entered at 4th place and climbed to 3rd, while Holssi rose from 7th to 5th. The song Shh.. is still holding strong at 11th place on the charts. NewJeans’ Hyein and Jo Won Sun feature as guest artists, and Patty Kim’s narration adds a perfect touch to the song.
I Stan U made it into the top 20 as well. It debuted at 19th place and quickly climbed up to 18th within just 2 hours.
All of IU’s songs are in the top 10 on the Bugs and Genie charts. Shopper and Holssi even grabbed the first and second spots on the Bugs real-time chart. On the Genie Top 200, Love Wins All is still reigning at the top, while Shopper, Holssi, and Shh.. are all in the top 10. I Stan U made a big jump and now sits at 10th place.
Lastly, IU will be starting her biggest world tour in March. She’ll be visiting 18 cities around the world.
