IU’s Social Media Followers Surge Following the Release of ‘Love Wins All’ and Album Announcement

IU has gained a massive following on Instagram following the release of her pre-release single Love Wins All.

According to K-Pop Radar, IU saw a staggering increase of 527,000 followers on Instagram during the week. On Twitter, she gained around 11,000 new followers. In comparison, other K-pop artists experienced an average increase of 7,500 Instagram followers and 323 Twitter followers. 

IU topped the fandom chart for two consecutive weeks. On January 28, she gained a massive 243,000 Instagram followers, which goes to show her overwhelming popularity and relevance

In addition, IU has claimed the top spot on this week’s K-pop Radar chart for the second week in a row with her hit song Love Wins All.

The K-Pop Radar Weekly Trending Chart is the only K-Pop chart that takes into account data from major global platforms. It’s designed to reflect the current state of K-Pop, with more than 90% of its consumption happening overseas. 

This chart is recognized for being fair and transparent, as it considers various factors like YouTube music video views, release dates, and the increase in followers on platforms like Twitter, Instagram, and Spotify.
