Fans of IVE’s An Yujin voiced their discontent with the actions of the foreign fashion brand director, Kim Jones.
While An Yujin from IVE attended a fashion show overseas, there was some discussion about the position of the fashion director’s hands.
On February 21, An Yujin represented the brand as an ambassador at the 2024 FW collection fashion show in Milan, Italy. She looked stunning in a long halter neck dress in yellow and beige. During the event, she had a photo taken with Kim Jones, who is the artistic director for Fendi’s women’s collection.
In the video, An Yujin is seen standing next to Kim Jones and striking a pose while looking at the camera. Some fans of the IVE leader who watched the video expressed their criticism, saying that the man placed his hand a little too low on her waist, which they considered to be rude physical contact. Others responded that excessive criticism should be refrained from, taking cultural differences into account.
After finishing her shoot, Kim Jones even brushed his hand past Yujin’s waist. Some people online pointed out that Kim Jones’ hand position was not appropriate.
Many fans are expressing disapproval of the hand placement, while others attributed it to cultural differences.
