IVE Headlines Lollapalooza Berlin 2025; BTS’s j-hope Watches From the Audience

IVE performing at Lollapalooza Berlin 2025: j-hope watching from the crowd

IVE made a big splash on Saturday as the headliner for Lollapalooza Berlin 2025. The sextet, Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Wonyoung, Leeseo, and Liz,  put on an exciting show that Berlin festivalgoers won’t forget anytime soon.

Adding to the buzz, BTS’s j-hope was spotted in the crowd cheering them on, just a day before he takes the same stage himself.

At 7:10 PM local time on July 12, IVE took the stage at the massive ‘Lollapalooza Berlin’ festival at Olympiastadion & Olympiapark Berlin in Germany and wowed the crowd with a 55-minute live band performance.

A Full Setlist Packed with Hits

IVE stepped onto the Telekom main stage to loud cheers from the audience. They opened their set with their new song ‘REBEL HEART.’ A strong live band sound filled the venue as they moved right into ‘I AM.’ The members hit their high notes with ease and set the mood for the night.

After greeting the local fans, IVE walked to the extended stage and kept the energy up. Their performance of ‘Baddie’ quickly became a trending topic online. Jang Wonyoung’s deep rap part surprised many people and got a huge reaction. They also performed ‘TKO’ live for the first time at this festival. The strong choreography, partly created by Gaeul, left a big impression on the crowd.

IVE then showed a softer side with ‘LOVE DIVE’ and ‘You Wanna Cry.’ In ‘LOVE DIVE,’ they showed their usual bright energy. In ‘You Wanna Cry,’ their gentle vocals stood out and drew loud cheers.

After that, they played part of the ‘ATTITUDE’ music video before returning to perform the song live. Liz sang the high notes without missing a beat. When the famous ‘runaway guinea pig’ part came on — which went viral this year — fans screamed even louder.

Next, they performed ‘Kitsch’ with their usual confident and fun vibe. During ‘Supernova Love,’ they made eye contact with fans and connected closely with the crowd.

To close the show, they performed hit after hit, including ‘Accendio,’ ‘ELEVEN,’ ‘HEYA,’ ‘All Night,’ and ‘After LIKE.’ During the last song, the crowd sang ‘After LIKE’ in Korean until the end. IVE thanked everyone on stage and wrapped up their show on a warm note.

j-hope Shares His Support

Fans were quick to spot j-hope in the audience, dancing to IVE’s songs. He later shared a short clip from IVE’s show on his Instagram story, which made fans from both fandoms extra happy. His appearance comes just a week after he was seen at BLACKPINK’s concert in Goyang, showing once again how much he supports fellow artists.

He is also set to perform his own solo stage at Lollapalooza Berlin on Sunday, which many fans are looking forward to.

Gaeul Thanks j-hope

After the show, IVE’s Gaeul talked about how much it meant to see j-hope there. She said,

We are so thankful to j-hope sunbae-nim for supporting us so much and cheering us up when he was leaving.

Unfortunately, we would not be able to see his stage in person tomorrow. We will be rooting for him from afar, too.

IVE Message to Fans

After their headlining set, IVE shared their thoughts through Starship, saying,

Even in the rain that fell before the show, we were so happy and moved thanks to the strong cheers and loud sing-alongs from DIVE (our official fan club) and the audience who stayed with us until the end.

We sincerely thank not only the fans who came to the venue but also the global DIVE who watched and supported us through the live broadcast. We are also grateful to all the staff and band members who worked hard to help us proudly perform IVE’s music and performances once again at Lollapalooza. Let’s all do our best for Lollapalooza Paris next week too!

Meanwhile, IVE is set to perform at Lollapalooza Paris, which will be held on July 20 (local time) at Longchamp Racecourse in Paris, France.
