A viral photo has raised questions about a possible romance between IVE’s Rei and THE BOYZ’s Juyeon.
On February 15, 2026, a photo allegedly showing Rei (Naoi Rei) and Juyeon (Kim Juyeon) walking together appeared online. The image, posted anonymously on a Korean community site, shows two people walking side by side down a quiet street. Their faces are not visible, and the image was taken from a distance. However, the poster claimed the two are famous K-pop idols, Rei and Juyeon.
The photo quickly spread to X, Instagram, TikTok, and K-pop forums, with fans analyzing every detail. Some are convinced the photo shows the two idols together, while others say the evidence is too weak to take seriously.
Fans who believe the dating rumors say that the height difference lines up. Rei is around 162 centimeters tall, and Juyeon is about 182 centimeters, which seems similar to the people in the photo. A few fans also believe the outfits resemble items the idols have worn before.
The duo previously hosted the Asia Star Entertainer Awards in May last year. Since the photo has gone viral, fans have been sharing their past videos from the award ceremony.
However, others argue that blurry silhouettes are not enough evidence. Without visible faces or clear details, it could easily be two completely different people. K-pop has seen similar situations before where unclear photos led to rumors that later turned out to be false.
Rei, born February 3, 2004, is a Japanese member of IVE, which debuted under Starship Entertainment in December 2021. She has no confirmed romantic history. Some social media posts have speculated about school or idol relationships, but none were verified.
Juyeon, born April 15, 1998, is a main dancer and vocalist of THE BOYZ, which debuted in 2017 under IST Entertainment (now under One Hundred Label).
Juyeon has faced dating rumors before. In June 2025, speculation arose about a possible relationship with actress Shin Si Ah. Both agencies denied the rumors quickly, confirming that nothing was true.
As of now, neither Starship Entertainment (Rei) nor One Hundred Label (Juyeon) has commented on the viral photo.
