Jang Ki Yong and Hyeri, the beloved stars of the hit drama My Roommate is a Gumiho, reunited once again on Hyells Club.

On May 17, a new episode of Hyells Club was shared on the YouTube channel with Ki Yong as the special guest.

The 31-year-old actor is currently making headlines for his acting skills in the new Netflix show, The Atypical Family,  alongside Chun Woo Hee.

He got candid about various topics, from military service to iconic photoshoot with Hyeri and more.

Jang Ki Yong on Military Service

The Now, We Are Breaking Up actor was discharged from the military in February 2023. Over a year later, he opened up about his time in the military saying that he had quite a fun time.

When Ki Yong first arrived at the military camp, he remembered feeling a mix of emotions as he said goodbye to his parents and stepped out of the car. 

All he could see was the surrounding mountains, and as he opened his eyes, he was surprised to see many heads who looked just like him. Despite initial nerves, he ended up having a wonderful time with his new friends.

Jang Ki Yong on Working with Chun Woo Hee on ‘The Atypical Family’

Fans are loving Ki Yong and actress Chun Woo Hee’s chemistry in their new show, The Atypical Family.

At Hyells Club, he expressed his desire to work with Chun Woo Hee, however, did not expect he would get the opportunity so soon.

He shared, “If I work hard with this actress, we can create a really good work.”

Jang Ki Yong Hints at Fanmeeting This Year

He hints at his plans to go on a fanmeeting this year, revealing that he’s ‘preparing a bit.’ It is expected that he will kick off his tour once The Atypical Family wraps up.

Lastly, Hyeri and Jang Ki Yong shared fond memories of their hit show, My Roommate is a Gumiho. She also invited him to her upcoming movie premier, slated to take place in the coming months.
